Week 10

Thinking back to week 1 it seemed as though week 10 was so far off but it came very fast - even with that extra week thrown in during the holidays. This class came at a very difficult time for me - I have been having a lot of personal problems. I feel my school work has suffered and I almost took a leave of absence next term. I really feel I need school though - hopefully I can apply myself as Ineed to. I still have a final exam in my Human Diseases class - I hope I can do well. The week off is very welcome!
I wish everyone good luck and I have learned lots of valuable information in this class that will help make future writng assignments a less intimidating experience - thanks Professor!

Week 9??

Wow - week 9. This is it. I am a bit nervous about my final paper - mostly worried I won't find enough time to do all the revising I want to. I feel pretty confident about writing in future classes - these College Comp classes have helped a ton. Prewriting, I have found, has been a great aid in starting my writing. I am no longer worried about getting to my local library thanks to the KU library. I dreaded taking these classes when I saw I had to take them but I have found them quite beneficial.
Good luck to everyone!

Week 8

I can not believe it is week 8! Two more seminars - wow.
The break has thrown me off a bit but it was much needed down time. My husband and I have shared some much needed time together and I am learning to fit him in more. It is much needed on his part (to my surprise).
I am excited about the new Bachelors program KU is offering in Public Health. I wanted to concentrate on that and now it can be my main focus. KU also offers a Masters in Public Health so I am excited I can continue on here after my Bachelors rather than find another school.
Go KU!
The writing here has taught me so much. This course and College Comp I have really done away with any trepidation of writing I had.
