Went to the doctor today and I have to go back in 1 month and have a mole removed. What does that mean? Are they just getting rid of it before it turns in to something bad? Does it hurt when they do it?

  1. Possibly because it has changed shapes or enlarged. It gives the physician some concern that it might be canacerous maybe. Don't worry! Alot of times it is benign. they are just examining it further. Keep smiling!!! It is okay!! I have moles, too. :)

  2. I have had several moles removed, it really doesn't hurt and like CJ said they are just going to test to make sure they are not more than just a mole. There is no sense to worry until you find out if there is something. In most cases there is usually nothing. So keep your chin up and don't let it get you down,
